Pina Colada Smoothie

Enjoy this refreshing pineapple coconut smoothie. It is hydrating and refreshing and not only tastes delicious but is full of vitamin C and other vitamins and minerals. Plus pineapple contains bromelain which is great for the digestion and metabolism of proteins.

1 cup frozen pineapple
1 banana
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 plain coconut yogurt
1 cup ice
1 tbsp honey, agave or maple syrup
1 tbs of chia seeds
1/4 cup of coconut flakes
Add pineapple, banana, yogurt to the blender. Add the rest of the ingredients, but only half of the chia seed and coconut flakes. Blend all until smooth. Garnish with remaining chia seeds and coconut flakes.
