Vegan Caesar Salad Dressing

This traditional salad is an all time favorite you can't live without. Here there are 2 ways to prepare this delicious dressing with one healthier version and don't forget the croutons.

1 head romaine lettuce

1 clove garlic chopped

1/4 cup vegan mayo or 1 avocado mashed

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbs lemon juice

1 tbs red wine vinegar

1 tbs water

1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce

2 tbs nutritional yeast

1 tsp Dijon mustard

Fresh ground pepper


Croutons;

4 pieces of bread

garlic powder

1 tbs olive oil


Cut bread into pieces and place in bowl. Sprinkle with garlic powder and stir to blend. Then add olive oil and stir coating each piece well. Bake on 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Clean and chop romaine lettuce. Place in a large salad bowl. Mix all other ingredients in a separate bowl until well blended. Prepare croutons. Put croutons on lettuce and toss, then pour dressing on salad and toss. Serve and enjoy.
